Korean barbecue is a thing of beauty. Just imagining the marinated meats being barbecued over the grill, cooked to perfection and waiting to be stuff in a lettuce wrap for consumption is enough to make the tummy start rumbling 🤤

Well, meat lovers and Korean barbecue fans can rejoice! Because HanSsik Korean Grill Barbecue Restaurant located at Clementi Mall has just confirmed that it is now halal-certified by MUIS!

This all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue eatery, which is run by Ministry Of Food (the group behind other popular eateries such as MOF My Izakaya and LENAS), was previously known as DaeSsikSin, and was part of the chain of DaeSsikSin outlets that are available throughout Singapore. However, the outlet at Clementi Mall has been rebranded to HanSsik following its halal-certification (to note, only the Clementi Mall outlet is halal-certified, while the remaining outlets are not halal-certified and are still called DaeSsikSin).

At HanSsik you’ll be able to enjoy their 10 to 12 different types of signature marinated meats (including beef bulgogi, marinated chicken, and spicy octopus!), while also sampling their creamy cheese dip and heart collagen hotpot 🤤 You’ll also have access to free-flow banchan (side-dishes) and drinks!

And here’s some bonus good news – HanSsik is also one of the stalls at Terminal M (the aviation-themed foodcourt at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 that is pending halal certification!). There’ll be plenty of Korean food love to go around!
